"2. John Keller, may have been older than Charles since his four sons were all older than Charles Keller's son Daniel, according to Daniel's daughter Martha (Keller) Reamy in 1854. She told where each one lived and said John and Charles Keller had a cousin George Keller of Stoverstown, who has been identified in records of Shenandoah Co., Virginia. John Keller lived near Hagerstown, Md. While this area was still in Frederick Co., he deeded property there to sons John, Thomas, and George. The deeds were written June 1, 1770 and recorded June 25, 1770."

Information from Janet Ariciu, monkey@@getgoin.net, on the internet shows both a Johannes and a John Jacob as sons of Hans Martin. It seems more likely that Johannes would be this John Sr., as she shows him to have been born May 6, 1700, and mentions that he came to America with his cousin George. John Jacob, according to her records, was born February 21, 1712, and she has a note quoting a Will Abstract from August 10, 1804 for a Jacob Keller, and says his wife was Barbara, names three sons, Samuel, Jacob, and John, and mentions four daughters. This would not fit in with John Sr.
