John Jett of King George, VA married Elizabeth Frances Triplett and their son John married Elizabeth Ann Wells who was probably born at close to the same year as Samuel Wells who married Susannah Brandison in the same county.
John Jett's will, written May 11th, 1710 leaves bequests to his son Francis, daughter Abigail, son John and son William, and mentions his son Peter.
pp. 19-20: "if my wife should die or marry my sons to be of age at eighteen years"
↑ Birth year estimated on the assumption that he was considered to be of sufficient age (probably 18 [see John's will]) in 1710 to receive "the plantation with the Land thereunto belonging whereon I do live now during the Lease", and on the estimated birth years of Francis and Abigail.
