In a lawsuit submitted by his cousin Maurice Lloyd in about 1715 (2 Geo. I), Maurice says that in about 1687 Maurice's father Evan allowed Evan's "sister Audrey Jarman to receive the rents of the premises in Llandiloes during her life to maintain her and bring up her son John Jarman the rents of which she received till 1692 when she died. ... John Jarman being poor was allowed to continue in possession" until Evan Lloyd died.

  2. Birth year estimated based on the fact that his mother was bringing him up in 1687 and that he was old enough to receive rents in about 1692.
