Passed away peacefully at Leisure World, Orillia on Tuesday, December 13, 2011. John Joseph Heitzner (Joe) in his 83rd year, beloved son of the late Frank and Anne Heitzner. .... Joe will always be remembered for his quiet sense of humour, his genuine warmth and caring spirit for others and the intense pride and joy he felt in the farm life he loved so much. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Leisure World for their kind, compassionate care and support for Joe during his final years. Many thanks to friends Calvin Readman and John Appleby for helping us through the difficult times. The family will receive friends at the MANGAN FUNERAL HOME, Beaverton (705-426-5777) on Friday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 2172 Concession Rd 4, Brechin on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment, St. Andrew's Cemetery, Brechin.
