First found in Ct. rec. 1 July 1673 aft. m. to Elizabeth Cummings (3). … M. 2d Deborah (Johnson 8), wid. of John Foxwell (2), prob. bef. 21 June 1680 when gr. adm. on J. F.'s est., cert. bef. 18 Aug. 1680 when his fa.-in-law praised him in his deed of ho., 10 a. and other prop., for support. Records at Saco and York 1680-2 seem to overlap. At Saco, he was an admr. of R. Cummings's est. 1676; Tr. j. 1676; O. F. 2 July 1678; Rep. 1680, June 1681 (sick, appeared not); lot layer 1681; Gr. j. 1682. At York, O. A. 30 Mar. 1680; Gr. j. 1681, 1682, 1688; Rep. 1682; adm. Thos. Rogers's est. 1682; bondsm. for John Bonython 1682, John Ferguson 1682-3; Selectm. 1685, and ptn. for settlem. of Rich.
