"SUNDRIDGE parish registers (transcript used at the Soc. Gen. Library, London.) ...
4th June 1609 John, son of Steven Hand bapt."

This posting includes parish records extracted by Sydney Smith as well as his notes farther down, interspersed with bits of a tree created (presumably by Donna Edwards) based on the parish records. The notes indicate there are no records for the name "Hand" in the Tonbridge or Stansted parish records in the early 1600's, other than the baptism of John Hand in 1634/5 (which he accidentally says was 1734/5 in the notes).
