John 3d, North Castle, Westchester county, N.Y., died 1757, aged 47 [born 1710!], wills to sons John, David, James and Samuel; and daughters Phoebe Underhill and Catherine Powell. He had ten daughters who married into the families of Powell, Underhill, Willets, Willis, and Hunt.
[There is no evidence of 10 daughters in his will. Further, the lack of mention of his wife, who is clearly named in his well, makes one wonder how carefully this source was researched, and therefore, makes the purported birthdate of 1710 somewhat suspect. Presumably the age at death is derived from the assumed birthdate and does not represent an independent piece of evidence.]
