    Will of "John Gates of Stow ... expecting soon to be call'd out of the word", dated 3 May 1790, proved 15 Sep 1790, names wife Mary Gates; daughters Hannah, Dorothy & Damaris Gates; son John Gates; son Caleb Gates; daughter Mary Witherbee of Westminster; son Thomas Gates ["I have already provided for"]. Son John to be executor.
