According to Ms.Blair[2], Mary Wood, widow of John Frink of Ipswich, married Richard Bryer as his second wife between 1675 and 1678. Her youngest Bryer child, Martha, was born at Ipswich in 1689. That would place Mary's birth at approximately 1644 or very slightly earlier, and the date of her first marriage, to John Frink, at 1660 at the earliest. The children of John Frink of Taunton and Stonington and his wife Grace Stevens were born between approximately 1658 and 1680 indicating that this John was born no later than about 1638 and, therefore, he could not be a son of John and Mary (Wood) Frink of Ipswich.
