John (Fisher), clothier, baptized in Syleham, Suffolk, 15 September 1597; buried there 4 September 1636; unmarried. In his will, written 28 March 1636 and proved 30 October 1636, John made bequests to "Joshua Fisher of Harleston my brother," "Martha Fisher my sister of Silham," "Mary Brigges of Dinnington my sister the wife of Roger Brigges," "John Fisher the sonne of Joshua Fisher of Harleston my brother," and "Cornelius Fisher sonne of Anthony Fisher of Denton my brother." He named his brothers Amos and Cornelius and gave a £5 2s annuity to his parents.
