6 Jun 1695: Second inventory of what remains of "estat of John ffay now Deceased". Sworn to by Susannah ffay Relict widow of John Fay late of marlborough.
[Note: both inventories indicate there was a will, the first calling Susannah the Executrix, the second saying remaining estate was disposed of according to the will, but these are the only two documents in the file, no will is found. It is recorded Vol. 7, p. 259.]
25 Jul 1690: "God by his providence calling me forth to venture my life for ye cause of God & for my country", will names Susanna my wife; son David ffay [under 21]; son John ffay; son Samuel ffay; daughter Mary ffay; son Gershom ffay; daughter Ruth ffay; daughter Deliverance. His share of "plunder and wages" to wife if he deceases, and as his son John has willed to him the son's share of plunder and wages, he wills those to son Samuel if both die. Isaac Amsden and Sam'll Brigham to be overseers. 7 Apr 1691, proved.
