John Farley, son of John, Jr. and Elizabeth (Archer) Farley, died 1775 in Dale Parish, Chesterfield Co., VA, leaving the use of all his estate to his wife, Mary. Bequests were made to Peter Farley, William Farley, Stewart Farley and Daniel Farley, sons of "brother William Farley." Will of John Farley, Son of John Farley, Jr. The Will of John Farley, son of John, Jr. and Elizabeth: John Farley of Dale Parish, Chesterfield County, Virginia September 10, 1775. "To loving wife, Mary Farley, the use of all my estate;" and the debt due me from Forest Farley's estate to Peter Farley, son of William Farley, all my lands, at my wife's death; to William Farley, son of my brother William Farley, five negroes; to Stewart Farley, three negroes, to Daniel Farley, son of William Farley, nine negroes; and to William and Stewart Farley, all the rest of my estate.
