"He lived in Haverhill until the running of the new line between N.H. and Mass. in 1741, when his farm was included in the tract set off to New hampshire, and called the Haverhill District. Later a portion of the district became the town of Plaistow, N.H. In 1748 he sold his land and bought land in Groton,, Mass.; 92 acres with buildings; and lived there until his death."[2]
