John A. Dobay, 78, of Orwell, entered eternal rest Tuesday morning, January 14th, 2014 at UHHS-Geauga Medical Center. He was born April 13th, 1935 to the late John and Olive (Chittle) Dobay. John, a retired logger, was a former President of the Northeast Ohio Horse Pullers Association. He enjoyed training and competing in horse pulls and spending time with his family.
He will be missed by: his loving wife of 58 years, Patricia (Neville); children, Robert (Carol) Towne, Richard (Debbie) Dobay, James (Pamela) Dobay, Tina (Gary) Grudowski, Kathy (Dan) Koziol, Edward (Gail) Dobay; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 sister; 2 brothers; and many friends. John is preceded in death by: his parents; 1 sister; and 3 brothers.
A GATHERING OF FRIENDS AND FAMILY WILL BE HELD FROM 2PM - 5PM, SATURDAY, JANUARY 18TH, 2014 AT THE ORWELL NORTH PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 135 N. MAPLE AVE, ORWELL, OH 44076. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the family to defray expenses.

CHARDON — John A. Dobay, age 78, of Orwell, Ohio, entered eternal rest Tuesday morning, Jan. 14, 2014, at UHHS-Geauga Medical Center.
He was born April 13, 1935, to the late John and Olive (Chittle) Dobay.
John, a retired logger, was a former President of the Northeast Ohio Horse Pullers Association. He enjoyed training and competing in horse pulls and spending time with his family.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held from 2 to 5 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 18th, at the Orwell North Presbyterian Church, 135 N. Maple Ave., Orwell, Ohio 44076.
