John Denison1, a weaver, was an early settler in Ipwich, Massachusetts, where six acres were granted him, February 7, 1647. He was a subscriber to the Major Denison Fund, 1648; commissioner, 1664; voter, 1679. He died in 1683, leaving his widow, Priscilla, who died February, 15, 1692.
[Note: based on the will this source says his daughter Ruth m. --- Prichett, but he names his daughter Ruth Denison, and names John Prichett and 3 children named Prichett, which sounds like another daughter who had died was their mother.]
