By the second of the 'East Sutton' deeds, dated 1329, a Roger Pistor of Lenham 'gives' to John de Fynemere and Joan his wife the tenements he lately purchased from Robert Godard which lay in the Village of Otryngden in a place called Fynmere round about the tenement of the said John de Fynemere. Among the witnesses were Laurence de Otyngdon, Pilip de Otryngden the treasurer, and John his son, John de Herst, Adam the clerk, etc.
