John Henry Cumming, 69, Topeka broom manufacturer, died Monday night, September 19th,at his home 1222 North Kansas avenue. Mr. Cumming was born in Hunterville, Indiana on April 9, 1863. He came to Topeka in 1884 and had made his home here since. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and of the Security Benefit association. He is survived by his widow, Nellie S Cumming, of the home address; one sister, Mrs. William Schein, and one brother, William Cumming, both of Topeka. Funeral services held on Thursday at 2 o'clock from the Sanders-Porterfield funeral home. Burial will in Topeka Cemetery.
