Gent'n being very Sick and Weak", dated 20 Apr 1790, proved 28 Aug 1798, names wife Mary ["all and Every article of houshold furniture which she Brought with her when she was Joined in Marriage with me"]; daughters Lucindia and Lucy; grandsons Stolham Clary and Oliver Clary; sons Elijah and Joseph. Son Elijah Clary to be executor.

  4. ↑ Many sources give a date of 24 Jan 1722 (e.g., Source:Bock, Margaret Buckridge. Descendants of Nathaniel Dickinson, p. 74. Since this date is not found in the Sunderland records, it is not known if it has any merit. Some sources (e.g., Source:Boltwood, Lucius M. Genealogies of Hadley Families) do not even include John in this family presumably because no birth record has been located. The cited deed shows he belongs, and the age at death gives his approximate birthdate.
