Clark, John - entered service 1776 in Baltimore, Maryland; born 8/13/1747; granted Pension 1818 in Pickaway County, Ohio, 1818 where resided for abt. 18 years; died 7/26-27/1822; married 8/7/1794 to Sarah Louden, Berkeley County, Virginia, who was born abt. 1774; widow married (2) Simon/Simeon Andrews (s/b Simon Cochran ) who died in 1845; children's births by soldier: Joseph 6/30/1795, Ann/Nancy Ann 2/19/1797, John 3/7/1799, Catherine 6/30/1801, Sarah/Sally 8.9/1804, Elizabegth 1/2/1807, John 8/20/1811 & James 8/1/1813; widow died 10/5/1853, leaving shildren Joseph, John, Nancy Ann Davis (resided 1854 in Franklin County, Ohio), Elizabeth Groves & Jane Peltier who were all granted Pension due mother as widow of soldier; other FB data: Nancy wife of John Clark died 6/5/1839 & Joannah wife of John Clark died 5/31/184-, R557.
