CLARKE, John, s. John and Hannah, [born] Dec. 26, 1683.
[There is no sign of a John and Hannah Clark in Roxbury. All the John Clarks seem to be accounted for without suggesting there is another one married to a Hannah. There is a James (s/o James) Clark and his wife Hannah Heath, but Hannah d. 30 May 1683, so this cannot be them. So this appears to mean John and Lydia whose son John was baptized the following summer when the mother was also baptized. Apparently, Source:Whittemore, Henry. Genealogical Guide to the Early Settlers of America reached the same conclusion since he lists a son John, b. 1683, in their family.]
