Feb. 19, 1692, and widow of Joseph Mather, who d. Nov. 7,1717. The date of neither marriage is known. Sergt John Cady d. Sept. 6, 1751; his widow, Elizabeth Cady, d. Feb. 29, 1760; both buried in East Windsor, Conn. The first wife was probably the mother of the five oldest children. …

    John Cady, probably the son of James. The records of transfers of land show his residence in Groton, Mass., 1699-1701; Plainfield, Conn., 1704; Canterbury, 1704-1721; Tolland, 1721-1725; Willington, 1725-1727; Windsor,. 1728-1739; Coventry, 1740; Tolland, 1740. Probably he soon returned to Windsor, where he d. Sept 6, 1751."
