DEATH:
Virginia Smith gave the date of death as 1939. As neither of his children was born until after 1940, there would appear to be an error in transcription. The most likely digits are 5 or 8. I believe that the original material was collected by J. Howard Binns who died in 1987, therefore the date chosen (1959) is the more likely one.
