    According to the 1871 census, the pub was next to Hepworth's woollen mill at the south end of the village. The mill was located on the Ordnance Survey map surveyed in 1888 and published in 1893 (http://maps.nls.uk/view/125648763). The local school is also close by. It can be found on Google Earth, but "Street View" is not available for that part of the village.
