    "John Baldwin (also, Balden, Baldin, Balding and Baulding), seaman, lived in Salem as early as September, 1664, when he married Arabella Norman; and died there Nov. __, 1673. She was his widow in 1674. Children, born in Salem: Hannah, born Oct. 15, 1667 ; married James Arden May 9, 1689, in Beverly; and John, born 26 : 9 : 1668.—Records."
