  2. A John Austin m. Taunton 1699 Sarah Hall and Source:Clark, George Faber. History of the Town of Norton, Bristol County, Massachusetts, from 1669 to 1859, p. 76, incidates he settled in Norton, having "three or more children". The three children found in the Norton VRs are Esther bp. 1715, Joseph bp. 1717, and Abigail bp. 1721. Given the date of marriage and the frequency of the known births, one would reasonably expect there were 5 or more additional children prior to these three. One of these is probably the John Austin of this page, called of Norton when he m. Abigail Felch.
