[note: some papers belonging to Ebenezer Allen misfiled in this file.] 13 Jan 1775: Warrant to divide real estate of John Askin late of Winchester Husbandman. 6 Apr 1775: Easterly end of tract with live stock and outdoor moveables set off to John Askin eldest son, he to discharge all debts. One third of remainder to widow as her full dower. Residue not convenient for division, set to eldest son John Askin, he to pay other heirs £17 each as they come of age. Countersigned by Deborah Drinkwater, John Askin, Reuben Alexander, Paul Richardson. [Note: based on guardian bonds, etc., Deborah Drinkwater is the widow (the daughter Deborah being a minor); John Askin is the eldest son; and Reuben Alexander and Paul Richardson are each guardians of 2 of the 4 minor children.]
