Called of 'Fairfield East Parish', he m. at Stratford, 10 Jan. 1717/8, Rebecca Blackleach; dau. of Richard. Inv. 23 Jan. 1724/5. Rebecca m. (2) abt. 1726, Ens. Benjamin Rumsey, and (3) after 1734, John Curtis of Stratford. John Curtis and Rebecca his wife of Stratford conveyed, 1 Apr. 1737, to Timothy Seymour of Hartford and Rachel his wife, their right in a house at Greens Farms; and next year, Seymour sold land and house lately belonging to John Allen dec'd."
