Deed in Kent County, Maryland:
Deed from John and Elizabeth Abbott to Azariah Bostick, cordwainer, described as the son of Elizabeth Abbott. The deed conveys 1 acre of “Spring Garden” to Azariah and is dated April 5, 1763. The property “Spring Garden” that Elizabeth Abbott conveyed to Azariah Bostick was part of a 265 acre tract surveyed in 1723 for Gideon Pearce. He sold 132 acres of the property to George Linegar in 1724, the other 133 acres he sold to John Pryor. (Note: record proves that Elizabeth Abbott was same Elizabeth that married James Bostick, and was mother of Azariah).
