Anne was born on December 8, 1927 in Enschot, North Brabant in The Netherlands, the youngest girl in a family of nine. Anne and Adrian were one of the couples of the famous "Dutch Dozen" wedding in 1954. One month later, they and three of the other couples immigrated to Canada and settled in southwestern Ontario. After various jobs in different locations, Anne and Adrian purchased a dairy farm near Denfield in 1960. Together, they moved their growing family and lived out their dream, worked hard and raised their family. In 1997, they retired to Vintage Green in Ilderton, and in 2018, Anne moved to Seasons Retirement Community in Strathroy. Anne was known for her egg cookies, homemade bread, and knitting. She enjoyed playing cards and board games, visiting friends, traveling to Alberta and Holland and most importantly, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff of Seasons Retirement Residence and Jessica's House for their care and compassion.
