JOHANN was probably born in circa 1720, in the "Prince-Bishopric of Osnabrueck", which in 1815 was added to the new Kingdom of Hannover. In 1866, this area became a part of the Kingdom of Prussia. In 1871, this area then became part of newly created "German Empire" which only lasted until 1918. Since then, it has been a part of the nation of Deutschland (Germany).

JOHANN is the eldest name we have in the Schroeder Family, which now extends to Indianapolis, Indiana.
