An old resident, Mr. Roy, passed quietly away from our midst on Wednesday, and was followed to the grave in the German cemetery at Kornheim the following day by a large number of friends. The deceased, who was 83 years of age, had been ailing for some time, and death was not unexpected. He was the father of Mrs. E Bartlett of Pimpinlo, with whom he resided, and Mrs Hans, of Vectis.
