There is a lot of confusion over Udo's 15 page list of Schepmann emigrants. Indications are that Johann may have had a middle name of Heinrich or Friedrich? Something about him having been a "Heuermann" in Schwagstorf, or having come from "Cappelschen"? Even his prior surname may have been a mystery. Shows he had an ancestor named Georg (no surname), who was born in Ostercappeln in 1654. The list gives his parents as Hermann & Margrethe (no surnames), and doesn't make sense that they were born in 1626 and 1627 respectively.

Also on Page 1, there was a long introduction (in German) and discussion of many German researchers, who worked on this problem in 1997-2003. It seems the numbers 1626 and 1627 must be auswanderer numbers (emigrants) who were actually born in 1706 and 1707?

In any event, Udo has died, and the meaning in the e-mail file is unknown to the compiler now.
