    This Joel Walker born in Albemarle and married Jane Cavendish in Greenbrier in 1797. Only she was really born Jane McCoy, and was the first wife of William H. Cavendish Jr. They were married in 1794 and he died in 1795 and his widow, Jane Cavendish married this Joel Walker. This was proved by records from the McCoy and Cavendish files in Greenbrier.
