Wardley, grandmother of Katherine & Elizabeth Iles, daughters of Tho. Iles, dec'd for John Mathews, who married relict of Tho. Iles, to give over children to Joan to raise. Mathews to pay children their portion of estate of Iles. same, p. 240; 24 Oct 1680, ordered that John Mathews give bond before 29th for estate of Tho. Iles or be arrested. "York Co, VA Deed, Wills Orders, etc. #5 1672-1676, p. 159; I Joane Wardley, give my grandchild Agnes Iles, daughter of Thomas Iles, a heifer with calf, but if she should die, then to the next heir of Thomas Iles.
