JESSIE L. MORROW INMAN Jessie Lawrence Morrow, widow of Dr. Samuel J. Morrow, died March 27, 1989 at Camp Haven Nursing Home. A native of Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late John Thomas and Sue Stribling Lawrence. She was a graduate of Lander College, taught in Inman schools for many years, was a member of Inman First Baptist Church, director of the Junior Department for many years and member of WMU. She was a charter member of Inman Women's Club, Inman Garden Club and Spartanburg County Medical Auxiliary. Surviving are a daughter, Sue M. Turpin of Gramling; three sons, Samuel Jerone Morrow of Landrum and Lawrence Morrow and John A. Morrow, both of Inman; a sister, Mrs. Robert Tur-nipseed of Statesville, N.C; two brothers, Francis "Plug" Lawrence and Jack Lawrence, both of Greenwood; and eight grandchildren. Services were at 4 p.m. today at Inman First Baptist Church with Dr. Donald Bishop and the Rev. James R. Bruce officiating. -Burial was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home of Lawrence Morrow, 12350 Asheville Highway, Inman. Memorials may be made to Inman First Baptist Church building fund, 14 N. Howard St., Inman, S.C. 29349. Seawright Funeral Home was in charge.
