    ORTLAND, Ind.--Jessie O. Silvers, 79, 1127 W. Arch St., died Sunday in her home.
    Mrs. Silver, who was born in Redkey, was a homemaker. She was a member of Redkey Methodist Church and Women of the Moose and a life member of Academy of Friendship.
    Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Royce T. Silvers; a son, William Silvers, Congers, Ga.; a daughter, Carolyn Sherman, Muncie; a half-sister, Barbara Sears (husband: John), Redkey; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
    Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Redkey. Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
