Harper HARTWELL- Jesse Willis harper, 91, of Nuberg community, widower of Eunice Hunt Harper, died Thursday at Hart County Hospital. Born in Elbert County, he was a son of the late Judge and Dora Hulme Harper. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Bethesda United Methodist Church. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Cecile) Campbell of Hartwell, Mrs. Clifton (Dora Lee) Adams of Elberton, Mrs. W. F. (Edna) Whitaker of Anderson, S.C.; son, Roy A. Harper of Hartwell; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Strickland Funeral Home by the Rev. Forest King. Burial was in Bethesda United Methodist Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, Route 1, Hartwell, Georgia. 30643.
