  4.   A copy of an unsourced obituary on Ancestry.com details that Jesse contracted tuberculosis while in the Union Army. He was sent home to a United States Hospital and then to his home where he died. His occupation is given as a builder of railroad cars. He was buried in the Union Cemetery in York but his body and that of his wife were later removed to Prospect Hill Cemetery.
