5 Mar 1833 Jesse Cook and Sarah sell 20 acres of above property to William Jones
Nov 1835 Jesse Cook and Sarah sell l27 acres of first property to Absalom Manlove (If this is Jesse Cook father of Prudence Cook Manlove, then Absalom would be his grandson.

1778 May or may not be this Jesse in Carolina Co., Md
1790 Jesse Cook in Guilford Co NC with wife, 1 m. uner 15 and 1 additional female. It looks like Jesse and Prudence with children John C and Prudence.
1810 Jesse Cook in Guilford Co NC with a wife (26/45) probably Pheba (10-15) and 4 other children. By this time John C and Prudence were already married and therefore out of the house. The will of Sarah Cranor seems to indicate that her daughter Prudence wife of Jesse Cook was dead. The census indicates that Jesse has remarried and has started another family with his 2nd wife.

1840 Jesse Cook in Rush Co., Washington Twp In. He is 80-90 years old and his wife is 60-70. They have 1 m 15-20
1850 Sarah Cook in Rush Co., Jackson Twp In She is 70 years old and was born in Va. She is a resident of the insane asylum of Rush Co. (Her age corresponds to the previous census records and the land records indicate that Jesse Cook's wife was named Sarah. Their property was located near John C Cook's property and that of his sons William and Joash. I therefore conclude that the Jesse and Sarah Cook indicated in the above census records and land rec ords are the father and stepmother of John C Cook Prudence Cook Manlove McConkey and Pheba Gillam.
From analysis of census I assume that Jesse Cook is the father of 5 children in addition to John c. Prudence and Pheba
