The ancestry of Mary Secor was highlighted in the Adams sectio n of the Carhart Genealogy. Mary Secor was listed as the daughte r of Jonathan Secor (b.Feb 8, 1742) and Sarah Flandreau (bpt.Sep t 9, 1761). A large appendix was devoted to her Huguenot ancestr y traced back to Ambrose Sycard and Jacques Flandreau.

The 1810 census for Jesse Adams was 20110-20, the identity of th e additional children not known. Only two children are recorded . Armenia Adams was b.June 8 and bpt.June 12, 1803 at the Firs t Methodist Church of White Plains, "daughter of Jesse and Poll y Adams" but no baptism listed for Barnabus S.

By 1820 Jesse Adams was living in Ward 9, NYC and still there th rough 1840. He probably died 1840/50. No probate found.
