    Shipman, Jan. 27. Township supervisor notified Jerry Grigsby, aged negro of the Plasa-Shipman community until 3 years ago when he was taken to the County Home at Carlinville where he was the headwaiter. He was taken to Cook County Hospital, Chicago, for treatment and surgery from which he did not rally. He leaves no relatives. Internment was in Chicago.
