    Will of "Jeremiah Swayne of Reading", dated 16 Jun 1709, proved 11 Sep 1710, names son Beniamin Swayne [he paying "his mother and Leggecies to his four sisters"]; wife Mary Swayne; grand son Jeremiah Swayne [mentions land "I had of my father Smith"]; adopted daughter Marriam Ashfield; daughter Mary Eatton; daughter Hepzeihba Person; daughter Sarah La[interlined letter, possibly 'e'?]tton; daughter Elizebeth Briant. Son Benjamin to be executor.

    Vol. 13, p. 100 28 Jan 1701 [1700/01, since 12th year of William so between 11 Apr 1700 and 11 Apr 1701]: Jeremiah Sweyn of Redding Chyrurgeon [with Mary my now married wife] for £100 conveys to Tymothy Wyllye, Benjamin Sweyne, Thomas Nicholls William Eatton John Dix and Benjamin Burnap all of a parcel in Redding commonly known by the name of Capt Smith ffarme being about 103 acres. Acknowledged 12 Mar 1700[/01], recorded 5 Dec 1701. [Agreement dividing this parcel amongst the grantees is found at Vol. 13, p. 105, dated 28 Jan 1700/01.]
