Jennie M. Siddle, 91, of Oakcrest Acres died Tuesday at the L.B.J. Medical Center in Johnson City.

She was born in Perham, Maine, a daughter of Leroy and Segrid Akerson Wardwell. She attended Perham schools and was a graduate of Caribou High School and the former Presque Isle Normal School.

Mrs. Siddle moved to Texas some years ago with her husband, Matthew Siddle, who died in 1979.

She is survived by a daughter, Rolande Nanos of Biddeford; six sisters, Leona Jackson, Dorothy Wardwell, Geneva Rossignol, Ruth Sager and Captola Dahlgren, all of Caribou, and Marjorie Nadeau of East Bethany, N.Y.; a granddaughter and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held in the spring in Oakdale Cemetery in Sanford. Arrangements are by the Heald Funeral Home, Springvale. -Portland Press Herald, February 26, 1996
