Obit; The following obituary is for Jefferson Davis Williams, why the names of Jefferson, Henry and Gretchen are misspelled is only a guess, but I suspect the person setting the type could not read the handwriting of the person who took the information. The death date is also wrong, G Grandpa Jeff died December 9, 1918 per the death certificate. "THE KANSAS CITY TIMES, Wednesday, December 11, 1918. WILLIAMS----Jesse Williams, 46 years old, 2244 Chestnut Avenue, died yesterday at the University Hospital. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sophie Williams; two sons, Harry and Charles Williams, and three daughters, Wynona Williams, Edna Williams and Grethem Williams, all of the home address. Funeral services will be this afternoon at Mrs. C. L. Forster's Chapel. Burial in Forest Hills Cemetery."
