1. Called nephew in will of Tabor Bentley.
2. He was not listed among the heirs at law which suggests father was still living.
3. Living brothers of Tabor Bentley, in 1837, were: George residing in Providence, Saratoga Co. & Tillinghast residing in Richmond,Ontario Co.
4. Researchers at Familysearch.org believe Jared was the grandson of Tabor's deceased brother Thomas Bentley.
