Mt. View Woman Apparently Takes Own Life

    A Mountain View woman apparently committed suicide Tuesday night because she was depressed over not finding a job, Police Officer Don McCay reported.
    The Santa Clara County coroner's office identified the victim as Mrs. Janice O. Brown, who lived in an apartment at 994 Bonita Avenue.  She was 47.
    McCay said that notes indicated Mrs. Brown had taken seconal and vodka.
    She was found at about 8 p.m. on the kitchen floor.
    Funeral arrangements are pending.
