Inheritance from father who died 21 November 1856: The negro girl Lucinda that I gave to my daughter Jane wife of William Holmes I valued at eight hundred dollars. Lucindas second and third child given to my daughter Jane wife of William Holmes I valued at three hundred & fifty dollars, and the other property given to my daughter Jane at the time of her marriage & at sundry other times I have valued at one hundred dollars.
