    The "rest of my children" are listed as Elenor, Jane, Elizabeth, Wallace, William Thomas, John and Edward.

    It appears that the birth dates of John and Edward are known (1786 and 1790), leaving a gap between them. It is possible that the children are not listed in birth order (especially since all the girls are named first), and that Jane was born in the gap between John and Edward.
