"… Jane Hazard. She was born at Blandford, Hampshire [now Hampden] County, Massachusetts, on 9 July 1741, daughter of James and Jane (Cook) Hazard. Before her marriage, she had been in a Farmington court for whispering and 'laufing' between meetings on 26 February 1758. She died on 18 October 1803, aged 62, and was buried with her husband."
