1870 US Census William Hardiker, age 45, a plumber, is living with his wife and four children: Caroline, 40, June A, 23, William, 8, Caroline, 7, Nicholas, 3. They are living in the second ward of the city of Buffalo, NY.

1920 US Census Ida Hardicker (Hardilew [sic]), 45, is living in Buffalo Ward 20, Erie, NY with her husband, Nicholas Hardicker, 53, her sister Maud Ormsby, 50, her nephew, Osborne Ormsby, 17, and her sister-in-law, Jane Arnold Reed, 73. Ida states that her parents were both born in Canada.

1930 US Census Jane A Reid, 83, born in New York, is living with Frank Giblyn, age 65 and Helen Giblyn, age 64. Helen is born in Canada English and naturalized in 1900. They are living in Buffalo, District 296. Helen Giblyn is listed as Ida McKenzie Hardiker’s cousin in 1900 US Census. Also living with them are Robert R. Brown, nephew, age 39, born in Canada English. Robert naturalized in 1906. Margarete Cunningham, niece, age 19, born in New York also lives in the residence. Her father was born in the US, but mother born in Canada English. Amelia Conlon, age 83, boarder, also lives with the family.
